Frequently Asked Questions

What types of meditation will we explore?

  • Week One: Body-Scan

  • Week Two: Loving-Kindness

  • Week Three: Neutral Mantra

  • Week Four: Sound Meditation

How will I know how to meditate?

Each week in class, we will learn one type of meditation, and I will guide you through it in class. Then, you will have access to the same guided meditation in an audio file to use at home.  All you have to do is press play each day.

What if I have to miss a class?

That is no problem. I will send you a recorded video with information about the meditation for the week, and you will receive the digital audio file of the meditation that you can do at home, just like every week during the course.

How can I fit meditation into my day?

Everyone can find 10 minutes a day to meditate. I will show you how to make this easy with proven habit formation techniques.

I've tried meditation in the past, but it is so hard for me. Any advice?

You are not alone. Many people find meditation difficult in the beginning.
I have a video on my YouTube channel that addresses this specific question.
And I will provide personal advice for your specific needs in class.

Is the meditation you teach associated with any religion?

No, the meditation types you will learn are not affiliated with any Eastern or Western religions or faith traditions.   Each of us has the ability to access the stillness within.
